Old Man of the Mountain Tournament

The Old Man of the Mountain rugby tournament is one our old boys club, the Faded Blacks, frequents each year in the White Mountains. Surrounded by beautiful mountains, grilling, family and of course some amazing rugby.

As Bill Mueller said: "A pretty fair amount of some classic Faded Blacks made it up. More then a couple were present at the first OMOM some 37 or so years ago. Tom Willet, Chris Monaghan, Z-Man, Mark Levigne, and Paul Kent. There are some very deep roots with the Faded Blacks and the OMOM, Pleasure to have you up there again. Let’s keep the tradition going with the new Faded Blacks!"

Bill later went on to share the joy of having family there, saying: "I was able to play in my second OMOM with my son Danny and probably my last as he heads off to school. If you ever get the chance to share the pitch with one of your children make every effort to be there, it will be a top lifetime moment you’ll be glad you made the effort for."

Worcester Rugby Community takes pride in servicing athletes of all ages but it makes us especially proud hearing about the joy rugby brings to a whole family.
